Do you tend to push your subs limits or do subs requests tend to push your limits? I'm not saying that a domme should need to comply with a request that pushes their limits just asking if you receive them.

wonder y that post didnt get answers...seems that usually there is at least a page full..laughs

of couse we all all push and get pushed...geesh....did u never notice that brats just r brats couse they want attention?
male subs tend to push a lot (like in the other post..he wanted to bee her slave...she is totally overrun by it .....he pushed it)
there is a pattern in all the pushing
subs push in the more attention direction
doms push them away if they get too much bother

personally i d love to bee pushed to enjoy my sub *grins*
so far most just pushed their idea of bdsm in..and not even think a min if they want to serve me couse it sme...or just couse i potentially can fulfil their dream

lets push each other over the edge to bee happy

I've been pushed in pretty positive directions by subs, and when I'm pushing I like to be scaring the fuck out of them...

I think it can work all different ways.

I personally don't believe in pushing limits.

My limits are not thigns I dont' want to do. They are things I =cannot= do--which will cause me physical or emotional harm.

I don't do the "soft limits" thing. If it's a limit, it is something that will damage me. Otherwise, it's a desire, not a limit and at my partner's discression.

This may be a difference of nomenclature. For humble novices like myself pushing limits is largely a matter of finding where they are. There's very little I categorically wouldn't do (children, animals, the usual) and the vast majority of that is defined on ethical grounds rather than my emotional or physical comfort. However that doesn't mean I don't find a lot of the stuff I would do quite challenging. If you're cool doing everything right up to your limits without any sort of challenge involved or without it being any sort of strain or push then cool.

My subs have not tried to *push* me. Certainly my current sub knows better. lol I do encourage him to tell me his dreams and fantasies...and fears...which in addition to helping me delve more deeply into him, gives me more to *push* him with.

That being said, each of my subs, with his individuality, has been new terrain that has inspired me to expand in different emotional and physical directions as well.

Oh, wait! He has been known to say, "I think a little pain might do us both good, Mistress." Does that count?

or Fastlane

that determines how gradually to push them.

This does come from mutual understanding and expectation, I may add.
