This is my first post here so I hope I am hitting all the correct buttons.
You asked about 'face to face' positive experiences resulting from initial contacts on collarme. I have designated myself as a self-appointed welcome wagon for my local area. To date I have sent messages to about 60 individuals offering to provide info on the local scene, meet for coffee, and/or introduce them around. From those invites I would say that I have been met about a dozen new people, all of whom are not at the very least considered acquaintences, and some are friends. Additionally, the local community has new members and those who didnt know anyone are being integrated.
Overall, I love using collarme as a 'clean' site and I have had no bad experiences with the folk that I have met either through messages or later in person.
