ORIGINAL: RubberWitch I'm surprised Slipstreme hasn't commented on this yet. The furry scene in the UK is very gay orientated, so getting neko/inushounen dress stuff is pretty easy (mainly, it's giving a fellow furry £10 for materials and your desired species. next cat tail I'll make will be based on an inflateable buttplug, with an 8 coil helix of wire built aroung the hose, and then a black fur covering, with a white tip covering the squeezebulb. Hopefully this will give a nice poseable kitty tail, with a fun little twist for our shoujoneko J Actually I'm rather new to furry as well, at least in practicing. The problem with going through furry resources is that for the most part, if you commission anything from someone, it would most likely be a fursuit. If you are looking for hoods, tails, harnesses and mitts and such that are leather made specifically for BDSM, the furry resources are rather limited. Growing, but still limited, as many fursuit designers only do fursuits, plush ears and tails, rather than leather or latex work. For the most part people who make animal play items typically aren't fursuit designers. Also, going with a designer will require a lot of money, a rare commodity for a college student such as myself. Thus, I've decided to build my own stuff, including my fursuits. Also please note most fursuits are not made for fetish. Some are, don't get me wrong, there is fursuit "yiff" out there. However, many fursuiters have no interest in doing sexual things with their suits. (A lot do, I am one of them, although keeping a fursuit clean can be a problem.) Also many suits are made with the tail attachable to a belt or on the suit itself, depending on the designer. Fursuits often have a foam rubber inside making them very hot and unwieldy, and often time undesireable for heavy physical action of any real considerable length of time. Commissions are typically upwards of around 1000 dollars. (Again, I will be making my own suits.) Also most fursuits depict a character that someone plays, and are therefore very custom made. Whereas many animal play type suits are made for general play purposes and not designed for a character. Hence another hardship. Many fursuit designers are furry artists who prefer doing the custom work for a character rather than mass produce a single design. Some people who do also do BDSM pet play work are swamped for business and not looking at this time, which depends on the quality of the work and the demand for it. I have had my own difficulties in locating pet play gear, and again, have decided to craft my own. My play partner too has decided to build his own. It is quite interesting to recognize people by their suits though, on the artist's page. Should go check out my friend Avoj over on Jax the Bat's site. He is one cute fox. <3 Now I have responded :P
