. I made a bunch of folders for diffrent files and I want all the folders at the top of my documents list, but they're scattered all over the folder drive, how do I make them all in one place, instead of 5 here 10 later on down the list.

What OS are you using?

How are you sorting things?

Open your 'My Documents' folder
Click 'View' on the toolbar
Click 'Arrange Icons by' on the drop down menu
Click 'Type' on the new drop down menu

Right Click in the window where your files are (not on a file but in a blank space) it will come up with a menu an Arange Icons By... and then click on Name. That will arange all your files by name and put the folders on top by default.

You have to ensure that they are in alphabetical order to follow the suggestions above, or it will not work.

All you have to do is select View > Arrange Icons By Name > Auto Arrange. That will snap them to a grid. Then you click and drag the folders you want at the top of the folder to the top and drop them there. That will save you renaming a whole bunch of folders or whatever else.

Hi. I don't care. Thanks.

If someone has to tell you how smart (or great) they are, chances are they are not.
