Have you ever noticed how you can never find fries without skins? Is America getting so lazy that they can't even peel a potato? it's getting to where, when i go to a restaurant, fast food or otherwise, i will not order any potato items. hell, some places even have skins in their mashed potatoes. as you all can tell, i HATE the skins. am i the only one?

i peel my potatoes before baking them, wrap them in aluminum foil and bake them "without" skins. saves me time and effort later. not to mention all the wasted "meat" of the potato from me trying to skin it while it is hot. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

Way back when I was in school I learned the skin was the best nutrient part of the potato. I love the skins...often thought about making just skins..not deep fried either but figuring out a way to maybe bake them without burning them.

I don't know where you live but when I order a fry it never has a skin on it. Wish it did more often. Perhaps I need to visit your part of the country.

I love the skins too, and they are the most nutritous part of the potato!

Have you ever noticed that you never run out of staples until you try to staple something?

I am not a big mayo fan either but while in England, I learned several interesting things, I tried a cone of fries with mayo instead of catsup, if you try to stay in the pub pat ten the govner will lose his licence, and there is funny money called a thrupendybit. Mostly tho, there is a place called St. Catharines house that would put a California or New York DMV to shame, that is truely the house of the living dead.

LOL,

Ron
