I have just told a DOG (small-kickable) to deal with fact that big trucks are not going to attack it.

I need help. . . or sleep.

Either is good.

Best,

LaMalinche

That's OK. Earlier this morning I had to tell my Rottweiler the same thing about a mechanical Santa Claus.

It's called a Napoleon Complex.

I, too, find that some vertically challenged Doms have the biggest chip on their shoulder. They have to prove their domliness to any and all comers. Kinda funny at times...

Ah. Here, we've always called it SMS (Short Man Syndrome).

Midear LaM.-

Hey- it's no easier being a dog than it is being you- a little compasion?

(and come to think of it, letting yourself sleep would exhibt compassion, not only for yourself, but for those that want to deal with you.)

Back to the dog. Imagine having ancestral memories of ruling the plains, pulling down bision, - and living in a body the the cat could fling over the sofa. You really should work on bliuding his confidence by positively reinforing his good traits...

And as to your sleep, if it won't come easy, message me on the otherside, and I'll help you with that.

Stay warm,
Lawrence

Unfortunately, it's not just the vertically challenged.

is your dog afraid of vehicles, cringing and trying to run away from them? Or does it try to chase them to attack them?

This applies with males too. The little bloke always seems to want to pick a fight with the biggest bloke around (I used to hang them on coat hooks by their belts. The other aspect is the liottle bloke who always wants to associate with and be seen with a bigger bloke.... It's called here as "The Little Man Syndrome"....

I've never had small dogs but had one male Afghan Hound who always wanted toi screw the exhaust pipes of my 4x4 untill he tried it when the exhause pipe was hot.. It gave him a complex about sex for a long time..... (Could we do this with serial rapists???)

i've a female golden retriever and she seems to have sms too. The dog thinks she's a pit bull. If she manages to find her way out into the yard she scares the neighborhood to death. She chases any vechicule down that DARES come into the court we live in. New ppl, strange pp, known ppl? She doesnt care! She runs up barking, growling, hackles up like she' about to take a bite out of some one. And its been more then once that i've heard ppl scream in fear and try and run off (or peddle off)

Here's the funniest kicker of them all. She's a big cuddle bunny. She's a baby. That dog doesnt have a mean bone in her body. She mothers my unmentionable she mothers my kittens.. used to be kittens. She rounds em all up at night to bring them im, we've even caught her letting the male cat NURSE on her.

i've never seen that dog growl or bite or do anything of a vicious nature. She's a sweet dog.

But she's got this need to scare the death out of ppl. Whats she do when she's up next to her victems? Stands and barks until i come out hollaring at her to hush up and lay down and be nice. Then she's all licks, wags and tails.. mostly. Every now and then she'll give a bark at em in between being petted.. JUST to let them know.

she's a nut for sure...

Dogs screw the wierdest things. i had a dog once that would screw every pillow in sight. i had to "hide" my pillows from him. And boy i'm telling you he'd go to town. i always thought of it as like his blow up doll. And where the neck would be, he'd be chompin away biting here and there.. then throwin his pillow about.

Course he never learned. He was fixed and couldnt really get off. So every pillow session would end with his pee wee hanging to the floor and blue, him barely able to walk and absolutely miserable.

but he'd never learn.. frustrated little thing that he was.
