knees2you, Unfortunately, this same frustration occurs in real-time D/s relationships. Dominants with other submissives (Not that this is a bad thing, just make sure that people know you're poly prior to getting involved), married submissives who want a Dominant presence in their lives and cant get it from their spouse. (Also no problems with this...just be honest with yourself and all people involved.) The dangers with online is that anyone can say anything about themselves, change their name, change their font, play games, send pictures, and basically lie their asses off.. and there is no real way to confirm that what they are saying is true. The other danger about online relationships, is that they can be very intense on the emotional and psychological levels, (As the physical aspects are kinda hard to accomplish in the virtual world.) When someone if found to be less than what they said they were...or caught lying, etc.. you feel it deeply. Of course, the same thing happens within real-time relationships, but with real time, it's more difficult to hide your true self. Anyway..keep up the good fight. (Needs more coffee) ~Thorns
