First question: If a Mistress writes to me that my journal intrigued her and to write to her if what is in hers speaks to me, and I do write to her telling her thanks but no. Should I expect a reply?

Second question: if I respond to a profile with a long detailed letter and a vanilla picture of the smiling guy in a suit that might even be me, how long should I wait before sending a "Did you get this? [copy of previous note]"?

Good question. No, do not expect a reply.

A week. And only send one follow up.

i would wait for at least 2 weeks then send a reply if you get no replys then~ move on

if a snake bites before it is charmed there is no profit for the charmer

That tells Me the Dominant, NO. why would I respond to that?
If I were to respond to that it like You saying NO dont touch ME and then I put My hand on Your shoulder and say OK. LOL! Its not gonna happen, dont expect a replay to a NO ANSWER! ~rolls My eyes~

you are the person with the interest and it was YOUR choice to give a long detailed letter however it is up to the Person you wrote to if They desire to accept your forward actions. Think of being in person, you walk up to a stranger and start to tell them about your lifes history is that person going to stand and listen to you speak, or turn and walk away not saying a word thinking you crazy, or tell you to stop speaking and simply say hello first BEFOR giving details not asked for. My personal opinion being a Dominant and being one whom dident ask for your attention I would not of said a word and turned and walked away as I being the DOMINANT choose whom I prefer to have contact with and do not leave the choice in a sub/slaves hands to choose Me giving Me information I had not asked for as in My eyes this is a Dominant action and if from a sub/slave called Topping from the bottom. subs/slaves whom take a interest in Me would simply approch Me as such and say hello and then if I respond back ask what I DESIRE and if they can fill that for a opener.
