I've noticed in several dommes profiles the phrase "no game players".

What is a game player?

Someone who says one thing and does another for no apparent reason..

For example says he wants to meet makes a appt. never shows..

For example askes to speak on the phone..never calls

For example implies to many that they are the only one.. waiting to compare the best offer

For example says he wants RT when all he wants is for you to feed his masturbatory fantasy life via phone conversations or emails...

in general an game player is just that someone who gets off playing games

Well said Sylverdawn! Game players are a waste of time and should have a site all of their own.
Put them all together and waste each others time, not those that are serious.

I agree that those folks are very much a nuisance. When I worked for a Pro-Domme, game-players were everywhere.

My question however is by posting "No game players", is that really going to stop someone responding to the ad from acting like a fool?

Which is sort of my point...game players are like gnats in summertime. There's really precious little you can do to stop them.

It was a well said point.

I've usually thought that saying "no game players" or "don't waste my time" and the like in a profile is an advertised invitation to try to do just that.

There's enough crap in my mailbox as it is.

Just my 2 cents on game players. When I read that phrase I laugh. Does anyone think there are actually guys who admit to themselves, "I'm a game player."? Assuming they are self aware and just plain evil don't you think an evil person would have problems lying?

At best the phrase does nothing. At worst it creates a challenge! :)

BTW, I've seen more "no time wasters" than "no game players". Is it a regional thing?

In my experience, a great majority of people who one might consider "game players" are oftentimes folks who still are coming to terms with this kink. They make a date, and then simply chicken out from fear.

Othertimes, its the fact that they had simply lied to the other person, painting themselves larger and more experienced than they actually were. They make a date to meet, and then never show because they will be found out to be the fraud.

So I would say: No... most "game players" probably don't consider themselves as such.
