Status: offline 		I'm fairly new and this may have been discussed in the past, but has there ever been talk of a big meeting of collarme people....like in New Orleans or somewhere else kinky? Just curious if there would be an interest.

Status: offline 		Years ago, I used to be a regular in the Washington DC chats on Yahoo, when I lived there. Usually once every month or two, we'd all just meet up at a large bar or coffee shop in the area for a get together. Every sort of person showed up, and the atmosphere was not unlike the chats that took place in the room, with most everyone having a great time.

The reality of distance to travel is pretty strong - but it might be worth the effort to put a sticky thread with suggestions for location and date, to see roughly how many people might actually show. I probably won't, as I'm not shelling out 800$ for a round trip ticket to the US for the event, but I'm certain there are others who would (grin.)

Status: offline 		I just did 2 weekends of BBQ's for one of the poker sites I play on. A lot of people were here in town for the WSOP. Vegas is also a good place to meet people, so even if it's not a *big* event, please always think to say hi if you are coming to Vegas :)

Status: offline 		How about mini collarme munches across the US? With the ultimate desire to actually have one large collarme meeting once a year?

I'm with you Kiss, I'd love to meet some here. I will in my travels. My only issue would be, I'd need about 6 months to be able to clear my schedule to be able to attend one.

Status: offline 		What about possibly forming smaller groups in different areas to meet and possibly developing their own little munch groups and parties and such. SO many of us are unable to just pick up and travel due to work.Id love to see a new group form here in South Florida. One more centralized would be great and give me a chance to meet others in my age group.

Status: offline 		I would greatly enjoy meeting many I have interacted with on the boards. Unfortunately, anyone checking out my area, MO and KS, will notice not much here. I could travel out of my area for a weekend, needing at least 2 months notice to be able to get time off. Nothing beats face to face. And would answer the question, is this a picture of you? A picture of you NOW? LaughingAs we have all experienced the miscommunications that occur with type or even telephone, nothing like body language and eye contact to give the full meaning of what someone is attempting to say to you. As to location, vegas isnt a bad thought, and would take our appearance as pretty routine, or Lake of the Ozarks region, lots of isolated cabin areas. Maybe contact an area D/s group wherever you pick and see if they could help with a safe, non vanilla prying eyes location? Tess

Status: offline 		I think it would be a wonderuful idea, I myself have never had the opportunity to go to a munch or slosh (I think that's what they're called o.o) as I'm rather new physically to the scene.
I'd love to meet people here offline (well some of them, some of them can buggar off and find a site that meets their needs so they can get off and not have a comitted relationship in my opinion) though like many it would have to be planned months in advance if not a full year because of some people's work scheduals and so on.
