I have never had a poly and I don't know if my spirit would allow it. My husband and I have been together nine years and have done all sorts of things including threesomes. How ever my heart hurts to think of him loving another woman. We discussed this and he tells me he doesn't want to love anyone else it simply doesn't intrest him. Thank heavens. However as strange as it sounds I desprately want to love a woman. Husband tells me this is probably a good thing and encourages me to find someone. However how do you find someone who wants to be in a lopsided poly? Someone who want to be with me knowing she will never be with him. I can't imagine finding someone, I mean this isn't the kind of thing you just blurt out. Any advise is welcome-Thanks

You will actually probably find it easier to develop a relationship with someone alone in a "v" type situation than with someone who wants to be with both of you. Its not easy to find someone who clicks with one person, let alone with the both of you. In your scenario, there is no pressure on the person coming in to like/love you both equally.

You might try http://www.polymatchmaker.com. In my opinion, its a great site for meeting people and they have (or at least did have the last time I was there) a very active message board.

Bloulady, I Read Your Question Twice And Then Took A Look At Your Profile. I Think You Will Do Just Fine, You Will Find Her. As For Developing The Relaionship Alone , I Disagree As Your Not Alone You Are Part Of A "Couple. Yes I Understand That Your Husband Has Given You His Permission To Look. What Could Be Fun Is To Have Him Help You find Her. Poly Relaionships Arent Always Sexual Such As Will Be The Case With You . Even Though He Wont be sexual With her, He Should be allowed In Someway To be apart Of Your Joy . This Type Of Thing Is Common In These types Of Groups. ie Lets Say You Come Back From A date, Sharing A Little Of Date With Him. Be Open With Him And Encourage Him To Be Open With You. Have Fun!
