I'm curious if sub females have ever met a male dominant and realized he didn't have what it takes as a dominant, and just went that route because he has a fetish and thinks it's a way to get his fetish "fix" all the time. In reality, he might be better suited as a submissive because he's really helpless regarding his fetish: ie, a man with a foot fetish, a fur fetish, etc.

Imagine if Leopold Sacher Masoch, with his huge fetish for furs, instead decided he should be a dominant man, that way he could make all his submissives wear furs all the time?

If a man has a huge fetish for shoes, stockings, feet, whatever, wouldn't it seem that he could get all of his desires met by having a woman he could tell what to wear?

So my question is -- have female subs ever been with a male dominant and realized his skills as a dominant were lacking, and all he wanted to do was tell you what to wear so he could drool all over the item? Did it ever work out, did he learn to become more dominant and actually walk the walk?

I cant say I ever found one who proclaimed himself *Dom* that should have been a sub, (he might have it for someone else) yet I've found some over time that gave themself some title in hopes I would feel it was deserved so I would along with the program.

lol, its these that made me realize that just cause they may be a *master* there not my Master.

I actually have had encounters with two men who pose as Doms but could be my sub if I wanted to top them in a heart beat. One is into inversions and wants me to lift him up on the winches. He's skilled in suspension, but not a Dominant bone in his body. Then I have a friend I play with in my local public dungeon who's very into tits. Again I could be in control any time I wanted to exercise a dominant personality, but I don't as I'm a sub. What if their "fetish" is something to do with religion? i've spoken a few times about my first Master, the poly one who truly believed that He was meant, fated perhaps, to own 2 women at once and have His own little triumverate (sp?). He was by no means a sub or a switch, but His deepest motivation came from His spiritual beliefs that bordered on cult mentality to me. I'm sure most people have spiritual aspects to their D/s relationship but this was over the top. He wanted to be viewed and treated as a spiritual leader, and instead of being a preacher or the like, he wanted to lead His harem and basically be 'worshipped' by us. If this weren't our true belief, if we didn't appreciate his God complex, He wasn't willing to accept less. He very much got off on power, but He took it to a whole new level. Does that qualify for 'faking it for a fetish'? I'm not sure. All i know is, from that point forward i avoided His brand of dominance and worshipped who and how i wanted regardless of my owner's beliefs.

What you mean that there are Doms out there that fake being a Dom because they figure they can just grab themself just some woman and make them his sex slave? and have sex any time he wants?

AAk-

I have certainly seen the converse. I've had four different Dommes approach me in the last 2 years and in essence reveal that they were afraid to submit to a man, though that was what they longed for, so by posing as a Domme they could get their "kinky" fix and still be in control.

No doubt they are sexually dominant women, but there is a goodly chunk posing to get their fix (they have their male counterparts as well).

I have had several do this when I was new into this. Although, one appears off and on. He tries to be dominant over me and just can't do it. He is a foot fetisher. He thinks he can control me, but, alas, he is sadly mistaken every time! I have a much more dominant side than he ever will!
