My wife and I just received this from Netflix. It's a pre-Hayes code film about a three-way relationship.

It's not exactly perfectly consensual polyamory, but it's as close as I've seen in many films and the acting and dialog are all wonderful.

My fantasy is, after the last scene, they decide to re-negotiate their 'gentlemen's agreement' about what is and isn't allowed ...

I had the most interesting experience after watching First Knight for the first time -- a fantasy that, instead of the completely unsatisfying ending the film-makers had, that Arthur, Guenevierre, and Lancelot could just sit down and talk things out... since it seemed to me that the whole problem was that she loved both of them, and they both loved her, but outside opinions were keeping them from what could have been a very productive relationship (for both them -and- their country!!!!)

My local partner and I were imagining a concept for a poly sitcom last night...the hilarity of planning vacations and sitters and sharing showers.
