It is has been awhile since i have had time to post on this site - or anywhere else for that matter. tonight is a quiet time and so here i am.

a while back, i met a quite the most perfect (perfect for me) Daddy. we emailed and talked for hours upon hours. he flew me out, and we met for the weekend. he was very agreeable to my safe call procedures and even took the time to email as well as call my safe call person.

so... time marches on and neither my profile nor his is active any longer.

more time marching and we have discussed and he asked and i agreed to move to his home - me - kid, pets, books, lock stock and barrel. he has researched schools for my daughter and even made arrangements for me to have a place to garden. i will be going back to school to complete my graduate degree at his urging.

there are times when i am terrified, and he makes that better. most of the time, i am deliriously joyful and anticipating the move. i still try to stay grounded and reasonsable - there is still time before the move and life does have a way of throwing curves, but all is going very well, actually, better than that.

thanks collarme and thanks to the positive encouragement to keep looking frm others. i am moving - me who always made excuses and had reasons to not leave, who refused to leave - am going and happily.

what a happy Daddy's girl am i.

sometimes we need to risk and take a step of faith on our journeys to be rewarded with the greatest of blessings.

slavedesires, I agree sometimes we just have to take that step of faith, I know I did and am so happy I did, and newflower, I wish nothing but the best for you and your new Daddy.

wow - such a profound life change because of collarme.

I am new here but your happy words give nothing but encouragement in my quest to find that special Daddy ..You sound so much like me ..single parent ... cautious ..an alittle skeptical but you found your soulmate.. Thanks for the brief but hopeful message
