Birthday Tributes - 7/8/2005 3:32:06 PM

After the day that was yesterday - it's always good to reflect on really positive and enjoyable thoughts, and not just be clouded by the things that people would want us to concentrate on.

So, that said - it's really a good time to be so thankful that you can become aquainted with, even via the net, someone you can talk with, and learn to respect and maybe even someday, if the gods are willing, meet.

Loads of people find it really easy to jump on a single post in a forum and just make huge judgements on someone they havent met or even spoken to on a phone or even on a messenger. Sure, you can assume things, but there are very few people who take the time to get to know someone, so they can understand them better, even if they don't agree or share the same beliefs.

When I type words on here, not all of me comes out. Just words. Theres no inflections in my voice, no response on my face, because you can't actually see me. So it's actually a really good place to learn patience - because if your patient enough to want to learn about someone online here - you can be patient anywhere.

One of these unique and patient people is Lady Angelika - I think it's fair to say that M'Lady and I don't always agree - and when we do - it's fantastic. But when we don't, especially in the beginning when I was new to the forum, M'Lady was patient with me - listened and tried to understand where I was coming from, and sometimes we have differing opinions, but always she treats me with respect and just puts me in total awe of her wisdom. Even with other people, I have seen a patience that is totally beautiful... Lady Angelika is a Dominia of grace, style and ye godz I hope never to get on her bad side...(well - maybe - sometimes it might be fun!)

So I wanted to wish M'Lady A, a wonderful, if belated, birthday blessing. She is walking Her journey with skill and determination and I am so glad to have been blessed with 'meeting' her online here - and reading her words helps me gain insight and knowledge and I count my lucky stars for that!

Heres to you, Lady A!

Peace and Love

I have sent Angelika birthday wishes privately, but your wishes are so beautifully composed I couldn't simply pass by without adding something as well. It is such a pleasure to have such a spirited young Domme as a friend of Mine! But the truth is that She is so so much more than that! I absolutely adore Her!!

So once again I say...

Enjoy your day to the fullest, Maniac!!

No mushy stuff for me LOL!

I'll just say that I appreciate both the determination and fight this Lady brings to the table - Keep it going.

In my ''thoughts'' I leave you a fresh bouquet of Roses and a bottle of sparkling wine from a select vintage, compliments of Moet-Chandon.

Happy Birthday!

angel!

You have made me blush, very, very, red! Now that is quite an accomplishment ;) Thank you for the kind words. It's people like you that make me want to come here and exchange my thoughts, feelings, opinions and all.

And you are right, the events of yesterday did make me appreciate my day even more. To know that I was safe with friends and my boy. My heart goes out to you and all of England.

And of course to my LadyB, who I love and adore with all my heart. Your blonde maniac loves you.

And to fate & UtopianRanger for chiming in, thank you. How did you know Moët-Chandon was my favorite?

I'm a horrible wife! Pardon the belated wishes... May your next year be absolutely fabulous, bring you both laughter and joy and all sorts of other warm, positive fuzzies.

Yeah, what they said. Happy b-day. Sorry it's not more enthusiastic, LA, but my day's kinda been emotionally draining (an ex contacted me after eight months of trying not to think about him too much)

Your Red shoes told me. And since it's also my favorite, I picked it for you.
By the way...... last time I had some, I was celebrating a successful first descent down a remote river canyon. It was so good that I drank way too much and fell into a cactus bush. I didn't feel a single bit of pain till the next day.
