We are in need of a person or 2 who is willing to help moderate the forum.
This position is pretty time consuming and will require reading most if not all new posts on an ongoing daily basis.
This position should hopefully be filled by someone who really loves the site and wants to help out and see it grow. Someone who is familiar and comfortable with the forum, most of the regular users and with a good posting record. Ideally it would be someone with a good grasp of the English language, someone very familiar with forum rules and guidelines and someone who is friendly, patient and very understanding with an aggressive twist when needed.
As a forum moderator you must have the ability to separate your personal views and opinions from those which may be best for the site should they differ. If you have any sort of relationship or hidden agendas with another user on the site you must be capable of detaching yourself completely from that situation while moderating, or have the maturity to recognize that your feelings may be interfering with your best judgment and recuse yourself from dealing with that particular issue.
We ask that only those with posts of 50 or more apply for this position as we want to accept someone we are somewhat familiar with, and able to review previous posting patterns and history to help determine if we think you would make a good match.
