What place does sex have in your relationship with your Dominant (be that Dominant hypothetical or real)?

In my case it depends on the relationship. I've had Dommes where I've served them and there was no sex, and others where just about anything goes. Like all relationships good communication is a must.

Well, I am a guy and have those needs. For me it all depends on the relationship. In the vanilla world I enjoy having female companionship, it's a part of who I am. So, I could forgo the sex, but it would depend on what the relationship was. That said, if she asks I wouldn't hesitate.

I serve a Bi Domme couple and sex is very important to Miss Karen, but not at all to Miss Holly. So I have the best of both worlds.

I've actually found that since starting our 24/7 relationship, intercourse is a far smaller priority between the two of us.
We have now been granted the ability to express our sexuality without the act of intercourse.

I find the idea of relegating sex to "a spot of fun" to be rather unfortunate. While serving is a wonderful way to develop a bond with another, and can lead to long lasting relationships, we are sexual beings, and there is no substitute for the bond that results from the shared intimacy of a mutually loving, intimate, sexual relationship. With my Mate/Mistress, I have a deep connection/bond, on several levels, and could not imagine life without any of them. The joy I get from pleasing her sexually, the feeling of being loved and desired, the look in her eyes as I help her on with her shoes, or just the dialogue we share when discussing everyday topics. These are all part of what make me love her.

Ma'am,
sex has never played a part in my relationships within D/s, because of the untouchable quality of a true Goddess/One, i am not sure if it would work. i know many do, and many are poly in orientation, i wonder how it works for them.
Perhaps one day i will receive the gift of the sexual interest and attentions of a true Goddess/One, i know i will not be able to refuse, i do wonder if it will affect the dynamic between U/us.

I have had limited experience but in my longest relationship sex was sometimes part of it and sometimes had nothing to do with it.

Ocaisonally she would want vanilla type but mostly I got sex as a reward for being a good sub.
