not whining

not bitching

not bragging

just 'a' question..please?

how many other subs/slaves are out there that are allowed to spend 99% of their time alone unattended because they are fully trusted and competent to take care of business and take care of themselves?

thank you in advance

i spend 75% of my time with me and my children. the 5%to friends and errands. 20% to Him. that is by His choice, not mine. i would rather spend more time with Him.

i am not fully trained so i don't know if i am qualified. My training will take many years but a good bit of it is going to be incorporated into every day life.
my service shall spill over beyond the D/s dynamic and in many ways will make me more efficient and productive a person while feeling my submission.
However, 99% unattended does not mean that the Dom/Master is still not in charge of many areas.

I would suspect that many submissives (or Dominants or people in general) would not WANT to spend 99% of their time alone?

I was just thinking the same thing.

I don't think it's about trust. I think it's about being in a relationship and sharing with the other person, about intimacy. About being "with" someone meaning...well, you're "with" that person, and not just a drone.

Yes, Wolf, I know you don't need all that intimacy stuff and wear the fact that you are independent, don't need someone to care about you and don't want to care about anyone, as a type of badge. But hopefully you recognize that isn't how most people interact.

veronica, just clarifying before I respond---do you mean subs/slaves that live with/near their Dominants?

I'm not a sub, but as a Domme, I sure wouldn't let my slave spend 99% of his time alone. I wouldn't *want* him to! I'd be more liable to have him spend 99% of his non-work hours with Me... but then, I'm looking for 24/7. Still, 99% sounds like a lot even if you're not 24/7, if the submissive is owned.

Just my 2 cents.

I am "allowed" to spend that much time alone because my partner trusts me.

We prefer that it -not- be that way. In fact, we seek ways to make sure we're together -more- time beause we really really enjoy each others company. So, sure, he -could- leave me alone 99% of the time, and everything that needed to get done would get done, but we'd both be very lonely.

(not saying the OP and his partner don't, simply that this is my situation)

It was expected in all of my relationships. My job was to make their lives easier, so my owners always preferred delegatory style over direct management.

===============================

and THAT is what the situation is here..........She is gone 12 hrs of the day at work, and Her vanilla hubby is on-the-road.........so i am here 99% of the time alone doing what i am supposed-to-do-=-taking care of the house and dogs etc etc......
shoveling snow-laundry--whatever-------as an adult of over 50--She and i both feel it is not needed to be direct managing---i know what has to be done...when...how..

thank you for your answer.......
and someone asked if it was 24/7 live in? yes.

that is what i was asking...

happy holidays to all

I spend 99% of my time trusting everyone.
I'm such a stupid Ass....but learning that the 1% that is worthy of my trust is the one that will wear my collar.

Now, where did that 1% go?

Why would i want to spend 99% of my time alone....doesn't seem much point in having a relationship with anyone, if you never spend time with them.

I have no choice but to spend most of my time alone. We live 300 miles from each other, so He trusts me to live that far from Him. I would rather not spend that much time alone, but we do talk and get online with each other every day.

Now i am confused, a couple posts ago you said

"thank you for your answer.......
and someone asked if it was 24/7 live in? yes.

that is what i was asking... "

and now you say you have no relationship to speak of, how can you be live in 24/7 but not have a relationship?

When I am with MsN, we usually spend hummm... maybe 50% during the week and the weekends I would say 90% together.
But it has nothing to do with trust or compentancy, more because we love each other and enjoy our time together.
MsN usually trusts that what I need to get done I will.

I have no choice at this point. I wouldn't be here if I wasn't trusted.

If all I needed to be happy was to cook, clean, pay bills, run errands, masturbate, hang out with friends and occasionally go see a movie .... then why would I be in a relationship at all? *smiles* I need that interaction with an owner.

Oops, I didnt answer the question. I am trusted to do all of things because I follow whatever rules apply. :P
